Snow season starting early at Perisher

Perisher announced today that it will be the first ski resort in Australia to open for skiing and boarding on Saturday 3 June.

With 20cm of snow falling overnight, fantastic snowmaking conditions and more snow predicted over the coming days. The Village 8 Express Chairlift and Ski Carpet No.3 will be open on the weekend. This will provide a good range of beginner and intermediate terrain for skiers and boarders. A Terrain Park will be ready with a range of rails, boxes and small jumps to bring in the start of the season. A dedicated tobogganing area as also been setup for families.

Perisher guests can stay updated on the snowfall, weather and road conditions on Perisher’s website and mobile app. This app includes live updates on current lift and terrain status along with snow, weather and road conditions.
